With a crunk, zip and a pop, Oaklore is a whirl-wind show about invention, creativity and the wonder of nature. Starring Pippin, our big dreaming, tool wielding acorn inventor with stacks of imagination and a whole lot of heart to go with it. He and his friends, the fabulous Flo the fungus, the twinkle eyed Twiggy the stick, and the always on it Orrie the moss ball, look for new ways to work with their environment to come up with ingenious and sometimes absurd ways to fix the unfixable and solve the unsolvable.

Often a new character will crash, unannounced mind you, into their home of Minnowburn Creek and are in need of some support. Pippin, being the kind and enthusiastic little nut that he is, is always the first to offer a helping hand - or a mallet. However, more often than not, Pippin’s curious nature lands the group in many sticky situations (not the kind that Twiggy appreciates), as nut-munching forest scavengers are never too far away. Acorns are symbols of potential, growth and perseverance; and Pippin embodies these qualities in the way he sees the world in all its hidden possibilities, and his relentless positivity in the face of challenges he and his friends encounter.
